He holds a Masters Degree from Colorado Technical University, is a member of the American Marketing Association and is a Past District Governor of Lions Clubs International in California.

Spencer is a jack of all trades, and has been on a big stage with all of them. He is a musical athlete who is community minded and has a passion for helping others. As a musician, he is a six-time CMEA Superior Award recipient and former stand-out musician at the University of Nevada. He is an elite competitive skier and has won gold & silver medals in the Far West Masters ski racing championships. In the world of baseball Spencer has coached from High School to Professional. He is a Certified USA Baseball coach and member of the American Baseball Coaches Association. He has and won 6 - championships including back to back professional championships in independent single-A baseball on the west coast.
